New York, NY–September 8, 2011: Who would have ever thought a passion for painting and drawing would have led Tadashi Shoji to become widely recognized for his original designs and innovative collections. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week brings out the crème de la crème of fashion designers. Tadashi is no stranger to the runway since being established in 1982 as a designer, owner, and president. Tadashi high-end, one-of-a-kind pieces has catapulted him as designer and as an artist of the Tadashi Shoji brand.
Shoji Spring 2012 collection was warm and welcoming. It had touches of that old southern charm that would make even Blanche Devereaux proud. His collection embodied the most beautiful magnolia printed dresses to evening gowns with lace overlays; a true girly girl dream wardrobe. With every piece that floated down the runway you can hear whispers of industry leaders leaning towards each other saying this is absolutely beautiful.
Tadashi’s collection for Spring 2012 was a prime example of stripping away non-essential items and focusing on the sheer elegance and beauty of a woman. Each model wearing an enchanting dress exuded confidence but also showed that she can be very delicate, sexy, and sophisticated in displaying her natural beauty. Tadashi’s overall theme for every collection he designs seem to use touches of romanticism and elegance and who doesn’t like good old fashion romance.
Charm, Beauty, and Love never goes out of style.
