London, February 20: Topshop Unique showed at London Fashion Week. This collection was so Unique hence their name {wink}. I love a good show that can incorporate elements of nature or anything that captivates my mind to make me believe that I am somewhere else. Once seated, your imagination starts to take over. You are left to believe that you are somewhere in the wilderness all alone. The “little woodland creatures” (models) were rough & ragged with sheepskin adhered to their eyebrows and had messy yet beautifully orchestrated hair. Their use of chunky cable knit leggings had me wanting a pair to get through this blistering cold winter. I loved the layered look with the shearling styled coat that would give you that cold-weather protection you need. Everything in that collection had an element that referenced the wilderness from the models wearing headdresses designed by Emma Cook down to the thick faux grizzly mittens. This show was definitely visually appealing. Clothing that serves a dual purpose in being functional and fashionable has my vote, I give it B+. Great Job.
