Washington, Dc: January 15, 2011: The 4th annual 2011 BET Honors took place at the Warner Theatre yesterday. This years honorees are Legendary actress, Cicely Tyson (Theatrical Arts); Academy Award-winning actor/musician/comedian, Jamie Foxx (Entertainer); supermodel/entrepreneur, Iman (Service); publishing mogul, Linda Johnson Rice (Media); world-renowned musician/composer, Herbie Hancock (Musical Arts); and accomplished historian/educator, Lonnie G. Bunch (Education). BET Honors recognizes these individuals as lifetime contributors and exceptional service to the African-American community and culture as a whole.
