Happy December!!
Well happy December everyone!! Sorry I have been away for so long, I just got my new laptop and now I’m ready to blog it up non-stop. With that being said I’m not ready for winter but unfortunately I have no control over that. To my surprise this morning there was a blanket of snow on the ground (Whoa!) I knew it was coming but I didn’t realize how fast it would be here. If your in NY you know that we had our share of crazy weather thus far!! .
I wanted to share with you my obsession with outerwear. My last blog was about the jacket that Alicia Keys was wearing on Good Morning America. I’m still trying to find out who designed that jacket, but if know who did please let me know.
This coat is one my favorites from Nordstrom. I am in love with the militant style coat. This coat is very unique because of its crochet sleeves. This coat runs for $499.00. (This is the coat of the week)
Now I wanted to let you know that a store near you is stepping up there game and is becoming the next gap slowly but surely. A lot people frown upon going and buying clothes from a Walmart, Kmart and other shopping stores to that nature but these stores are becoming much more than a weekly ad that you receive in the Sunday newspaper. Target is the next big thing. Target in my mind was always big but now its better than ever. Don’t sleep on their clothing department. They have a lot of brilliant designers coming out of the wood works.
Isaac Mizrahi is just one of the many fashion designers that have contributed his vision for style and grace to this growing store. Being that Isaac has some fimilarity with this crazy fashion world it comes to no surprise that he can design to very classic and retro pieces for Target. Hands down his dresses are gorgeous. I don’t know about you but for this holiday season I am asking my friends and family to get me a gift card to target so I can shop for some clothing items.
Another great store to shop at is Steve and Barry’s. Nothing in that whole entire store is over $20.00. They have the line called “Bitten” that Sarah Jessica Parker designed. These department stores are becoming just like an ordinary gap, oldnavy, or even Macy’s. What place do you know in your area besides the regular stores that you can shop and get two sweaters, three shirts, two pair of jeans for under $100.00. No other place than Steve and Barry’s.
