New York, NY–September 15, 2011: What a better way to end Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week than to have none other than Sarah Charness to rock out on her electric hot pink violin for the opening of the Elene Cassis fashion show. As I started watching the show I jotted down two names: Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall; “Old Hollywood Glamour”. If you blended the style of Bogart and Bacall you would come up with modern elegance– Elene Cassis Spring 2012 collection. Elene’s designs have always embodied elegance and sophistication.
Elene’s collection presented us with linear silhouettes, structured sheath dresses, geometric stripes and the finest materials to enhance a women’s inner spirit. I love any designer that can empower women by what they create–that’s a gift that cannot be taught.
