Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Jad Ghandour Fall/Winter 2012
Jad Ghandour hosted his runway show, which took place at Cipriani on 42nd Street on February 14, 2012. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection drew inspiration from old Hollywood, interpreting the effortless charm exuded by screen sirens: Joan Crawford, Bette Davis and Greta Garbo. The collection was marked by rich, pungent shades of mustard, burgundy and olive, paired against luxe furs, silk tulle, crinkled silk chiffon and wool. Modern cuts and fitted separates updated the collection bringing it into the 21st century.
