STYLE EXPERT BOBBIE THOMAS TO HEADLINE SIMON FASHION NOW™

Free fall fashion shows and interactive events to take place at

Roosevelt Field on October 15 and 16

GARDEN CITY, NY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2010 – This fall Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG) will bring high-energy runway shows to shoppers across the nation with Simon Fashion Now™. This free, dynamic celebration of style will make its only NY stop at Roosevelt Field on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16, 2010. Spotlighting must-have trends for fall from fashionable Roosevelt Field retailers, Simon Fashion Now is bringing the drama and excitement of runways shows to stylish shoppers on Long Island.

Simon Fashion Now’s style expert Bobbie Thomas will offer Roosevelt Field event attendees inspiration and advice. Currently, millions of people wake up to catch Bobbie on NBC’s “Today Show”, where she serves as Style Editor. Bobbie’s national column “The Buzz” featured in In Touch weekly magazine for more than seven years, highlighted Hollywood’s hottest fashion and beauty must-haves.

“Simon Fashion Now is all about the realistic runway and making it easy for shoppers to create their own look immediately after seeing it in the fashion shows,” said Simon Fashion Now style expert Bobbie Thomas.  “Consumers like Simon Fashion Now because they get an instant tutorial on what’s hot for the coming season and I look forward to working with Long Island shoppers to help select style choices that reflect their inner personality.”

Runway shows rivaling fashion industry shows in production values will take place during Simon Fashion Now. Yet unlike the industry shows that preview styles unavailable for several months, Simon Fashion Now makes the hottest men and women’s fashions of the season accessible; every look from the runway can be immediately found at retailers within Roosevelt Field.

“We provide the NOW factor which allows shoppers to purchase everything they see on the runway that same day,” said Shari Simon, senior vice president of corporate marketing.” Since every price point is featured, no consumer group is excluded.”

Simon Fashion Now events begin at Roosevelt Field on Friday, October 15 in North Court with Style Wars™, an interactive competition between apparel design students enrolled in the Fashion Design Program at Nassau Community College. Through collaboration with the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition, students have been paired up with eight dynamic Long Island women, each of whom is a survivor of breast cancer, ovarian cancer or cervical cancer, to create a custom cocktail dress that includes a pink element.   At 1 p.m. on the Simon Fashion Now runway, the designs will be revealed for the first time and modeled by the incredible women who inspired the designs. The public is invited to watch the competition and cheer the students on as they compete for bragging rights and one of two Simon American Express® Giftcard* prizes.

From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Simon Fashion Now will continue with Trends & Friends Night, an evening of fashion, sampling and product demonstrations in North Court. Participating retailers will offer exclusive deals and one-on-one services to guests. The public can engage in fundraising activities that benefit the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the ultimate eradication of breast cancer. Runway fashion shows will take place at 7:00 p.m. with looks from bebe, GUESS, GUESS by Marciano, Lucky Brand, Metropark and Steve Madden; and 8:00 p.m. with showstoppers from Nordstrom, Betsey Johnson, French Connection, Marc Eckō Cut & Sew, Nike and Radley London. Trends & Friends Night will also offer tasty fare from Carlyle On The Green, La Bottega, Legal Sea Foods and more, all free of charge. During the special Runway Giveaway, guests can register-to-win one of two fabulous prizes – a two-night stay at the Garden City Hotel, a value of $600; or a vacation package from the Anguilla Board of Tourism, a $5,000 value. Winners will be announced just before fashion shows at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Simon Fashion Now continues on Saturday, October 16 in North Court at 12:00 p.m. During the afternoon, Bobbie Thomas will conduct two stage segments – “Bobbie’s Color Class” and “Ready, Set, Style!”  The runway will also be ablaze with fashions during high-energy runway shows at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and introduce fall looks from Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, JCPenney, Bachrach, Banana Republic, Betsey Johnson, Cole Haan, Express, Geox, GUESS, GUESS by Marciano, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Spring, Vera Bradley, White House | Black Market and XSport Fitness. Shoppers can expect to see an abundance of styles for men and women ranging from casual weekend wear and stylish outfits for the office, to show-stopping looks for a night on the town.

In addition to the runway shows, fashion and beauty experts will offer advice and insight into this fall’s cosmetic trend and highlight the must-have accessories of the season. From 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., participants can indulge in “Style Stops” featuring one-on-one fashion advice and beauty sampling by Nordstrom, Bare Escentuals, The Body Shop, Clinique, Pandora, Papyrus and XSport Fitness. Register-to-win fabulous prizes from the mall’s premier retailers each hour during the Runway Giveaway – items up for grabs include a Juicy Couture Large Chain Hobo Leather Bag valued at $448, a pair of Fendi sunglasses valued at $300 from Cohen’s Fashion Optical, $100 gift cards to H&M, Metropark, French Connection and Nike, Macy’s fragrance basket, a shirt and tie from Bachrach valued at $150, and more.

“We have an extraordinary shopping and style experience lined up for this season’s Simon Fashion Now, enabling our shoppers to get an up-close, multi-faceted look into this exciting world of fashion,” said Kathleen Herrmann, area director of mall marketing for Roosevelt Field and The Mall at The Source.

Simon Fashion Now is also on Facebook – fashionistas looking for the latest style news, contests, photos and event information for each stop can visit www.facebook.com/SimonFashionNow.

In addition to Roosevelt Field, the following properties will feature Simon Fashion Now™ this fall:
