If by any chance you have never heard of this Hungarian designer then you came to the right place. Addikted2Fashion loves to put the spotlight on designers who has the “Addik Wow Factor”. The fashion label Dora Abodi was created by Dorottya Abodi Nagy. Her studies in Budapest at the Mod’Art International Art and Fashion Academy shows her unique ability to experiment with different materials and have a sense of spontaneity in her designs.
The Fall/Winter 2010 Luxury Pret-A-Porter collection was inspired by the colors and forms of the hidden underwater world. Tones of blues, greens accompany shiny water-like or fish-like materials, Scales decorate trendy minimalist silhouettes. A reference to Glam Rock, specifically David Bowie’s wardrobe can be seen. In the new collection she also created women’s shoes and fashion jewelry as well.
Dora Abodi has won the Design competition with her collection organized by the IGEDO company in cooperation with the Fashion and Design Academy in Dusseldorf in February 2010. Dora Abodi pieces have been in Instyle, Elite, and Glamour magazines just to name a few. There is nothing stopping this chic designer.
