New York, March 2: Japan’s 10th annual fashion week will be taking place March 23rd- March 27th in Tokyo Midtown Hall. Its a chance to see seasoned designers and rising talented designers promote their creativity on the runway. I’m always excited to see what fashionable creations come from Tokyo. They have forty-six brands lined up; from designers Kazuhiro Takakura showing on March 23, 2010 to Yuki Torii on March 26, 2010. Japan prides themselves on three major componets:
- “They will build a framework that will give young designers with an interest in the Asian market an opportunity to try their hand in Tokyo”
- “They will continue to improve operations to present fruitful meet-ups between designers, manufacturers, and the apparel and retail industry”
- “They pursue broadened business opportunities not only for fashion, but also for designs around life such as interior design. Tokyo will become a more exciting place to live and work.”
